The 2025 Asian Canoe Sprint Championships Concluded in Nanchang

After three days of fierce competition, the 2025 Asian Canoe Sprint Championships concluded today at the Yaohu International Water Sports Center in Nanchang. With 266 athletes representing 19 Asian countries and regions competing for 24 gold medals, this year's Asian Canoe Sprint Championships has become the largest edition ever in terms of both scale and participation.
As the premier canoe sprint event in Asia, the championships brought together traditional powerhouses such as Japan, South Korea, and China, as well as emerging forces like India and Malaysia. The Chinese delegation topped the medal tally with a haul of 16 gold, 6 silver, and 2 bronze medals.
