China's industrial output up 4.9% in Oct

China's value-added industrial output, a key economic indicator, increased 4.9 percent year-on-year in October, the National Bureau of Statistics said on Friday.

China's retail sales increased 2.9 percent year-on-year in October, the NBS said.
